What we collect

JobBeacon collects the minimum data needed to monitor job boards and send you notifications. This includes your email address, the companies and filters you set up, and job listings fetched from company career pages.

How we use it

• Job matching — we compare new job listings against your keyword and location filters to determine what to notify you about.
• Email notifications — we send emails via Resend when new matching jobs are found.
• Analytics — we use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami, self-hosted) and Vercel Analytics to understand how the product is used. No personal data is shared with third parties for advertising.

Third-party services

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Neon — database hosting (PostgreSQL).

Data retention

Your watched companies, filters, and associated job data are deleted immediately when you remove a company. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not track you across other websites. We do not use your data to train AI models.
